Delivery Manager

An exciting role has become available in our Northland Contracting business for a Delivery Manager who is experienced with leading a large team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible in managing a department to ensure service, cost, quality, and safety objectives are met.
- Supported by a skilled and dedicated team with direct reports and reports of reports, you will drive the efficient operations and performance of the responsive services in Whangarei and Kaipara.
- This role will require you supporting the Operations Manager in the delivery of Strategic Objectives where you will grow a profitable, sustainable, and competitive contracting business and assist in the development of annual budget forecasts and achieve performance targets. You will also:
- Lead and mentor a team of Supervisors who manage field staff
- Develop and drive improvements in quality, productivity, and safety performance
- Effectively manage customer liaison and arrangements
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers, and our customers.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced leader with broad experience in managing and leading staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and/or Business Management
- Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and quality
- Sound financial knowledge and be a strategic thinker
- Excellent communication skills and strong collaborative skills
- Proven ability to develop and manage relationships
- Tenacity to take problems through to successful outcomes despite potential barriers
- Experience and current involvement in the infrastructure, utility or electrical distribution business are highly advantageous
