Our client, a leading multinational building services and facilities management service provider is looking to recruit a skilled and client-orientated Senior Operations Manager to support and lead teams undertaking Asset Management, Project Delivery across Capex and Minor Works and the Planning of Routine Maintenance across large, multi-building facilities.
**Ideally you will be**:
- Qualified in Business or Engineering Management, with a strong practical and strategic understanding of Asset Management, Project Delivery and Planning of Engineering / Building Services Maintenance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, able to ensure maintenance planning and delivery is undertaken in a timely manner
**Duties include**:
- Performing a leadership role, mentoring managers and supporting their leading of a large team of direct and contractor service delivery staff whilst indirectly influence supervisors and trades staff (including contractors) undertaking work across large diverse sites.
- Manage the delivery of Asset Management; Project Delivery - Capex and Minor Works and the Planning of Routine Maintenance with a strong focus on stakeholder outcomes and relationships and long-term strategy around lifecycle delivery.
**Skills and Attributes**:
- Senior Facilities / Operations Manager with prior experience in leading Facilities Engineering / Building Services staff
- Strong compliance and operational excellence skills.
- 3+ years’ experience in managing a team of technical facilities management staff providing clear direction and timescales to ensure they meet service delivery schedules.
- An excellent written and verbal communicator, with fluent English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions, and undertake internal and external stakeholder interface.
- Engaging personality and well-presented, able to delegate responsibilities to ensure duties are completed.
- A strong manager who can engage fully with frontline staff (direct and contract), and provide head-office support and stakeholder engagement.
- Support staff development, diversity programmes and commitment to safe working practices.
- Prior experience working across a diverse multi-site portfolio.
