We are seeking a proactive and curious Finance Business Partner - Operations, looking to make a difference Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, this role sits on our Wiri site and will be a member of the site-based leadership team. Your focus will be on business partnering with the site to enable value creation by improving the quality of business decisions and ensuring that decisions lead to action. You will be partnering with our Wiri site, Procurement, and other parts of our baking business.

**Purpose of the Role**

As an expert in Manufacturing & Operations, your curiosity and interest in cost accounting, production productivity, and operational effectiveness will see you digging into all areas of the Production process. Business partner with the Wiri site and procurement in ensuring that they both get the required level of support and challenge to improve the quality of business decisions. This would include:

- Key involvement in product costing for existing products, the commercial analysis for NPD, and the ROI of imported products/new lines.
- Ownership of the annual operating budget and be responsible for working closely with Operations to ensure that budgets, forecasts, and projects are on track.
- Setting meaningful KPIs with the team and implement site dashboards, both for direct costs and operations.
- Contributing to monthly & annual reporting and commentary to both the Head of Finance NZ and Australian operations.
- Analysing results, providing meaningful commentary & challenging the business.
- Leading key business and functional projects
- Providing leadership to one direct report

**About You**
- You must have manufacturing cost and operations accounting experience (ideally in FMCG) and be able to demonstrate that you have implemented initiatives that positively impacted the businesses you have worked with in the past.
- You will need to have an Accounting & Finance degree and be confident in presenting and challenging through numbers.
- You will thrive in an environment where collaboration is essential, wanting to proactively get out in and amongst the production plant, supply chain and logistics teams.
- Your experience with standard cost accounting, labour, materials, and overheads from previous roles will enable you to guide and advise on best practices and areas for optimisation
- Finance Business Partnering & Management accountant experience
- Previous experience & accountability with running a site P&L and production costings
- System knowledge and experience with SAP, Tableau (desirable)
- Ability to influence key stakeholders
