**The Company**

My client is a large MNC company with substantial global operations. The company has continue to expand and have in recent times moved away from a dealership model to having their own operations in NZ with a sales & distribution team based here. The business is based in Wiri and have Oceania Head office based in Melbourne reporting to Singapore, where a shared service for the global operation resides.

**The Role**

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Finance (Oceania), who is based in Melbourne and have a close working relationship with Director of Sales (NZ). Due to expansion in the local market, the company has made the decision to add the Finance business partner head to NZ to continue to drive business growth and performance. However you will also have the support of a Melbourne based finance team which you are very much a part of. You will be responsible for the following:

- Oversee monthly reporting, working in conjunction with the shared services GL team based in Singapore.
- Provide the insights & analysis of monthly results and provide commentary thereon
- Business Partner with sales and operations to analyse and drive business performance
- Lead the planning & and forecasting process for NZ
- Work collaboratively with the Australian business partners and contribute to the wider Oceania requirements as & when needed
- Ensure the integrity of the financial information as the business continues to grow & expand
- Ad hoc analysis as required

**Your profile**:
To be considered for this role, we are looking for an individual with the following characteristics:

- Strong analytical ability/management accounting background
- Confident working independently to drive local business performance
- Confident working as part of a team to establish best practises
- A results orientated, team player
- Experience with SAP a major bonus
- CA preferred
- A level of maturity required to own the role independently

This is a newly created role established to help drive the local business. It is a great opportunity to gain experience working for a MNC while owning the NZ operational finance function.
