Are you a talented designer looking to join a dynamic in-house team? Do you love Ōtautahi-Christchurch and want to contribute to making it a great place? We're looking for a Senior Digital & Graphic Designer to join us. This is a rare opportunity to work in one of New Zealand's largest councils.

Reporting to the Team Leader Design, this is an exciting and rewarding role. You'll share responsibility for providing creative direction and guidance, and will oversee our talented team of graphic designers in bringing our marketing, communications and engagement material to life. As part of the wider Communications and Engagement Unit you will be a key member of the team, working on design projects for a wide range of Council services and activities across our digital and print channels.

You'll have an outstanding portfolio demonstrating strong creative talent and skill in digital and print design. You'll have a proven understanding of UX design and an uncompromising attention to detail. You'll be proficient in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and After Effects) and Microsoft Office Suite, and be able to interpret customer needs and offer creative solutions in line with our brand guidelines and strategy. You'll be a people-person, with the experience and skill to build collaborative relationships with our customers and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
