This role will suit a chartered engineer (or a person who is close to achieving this), who has had a broad exposure to civil and structural construction projects and is now looking to step into a role that will allow them to grow and advance their career within a small team that is comprised of five engineers and two administrators. Based in our modern North Shore office, you will be exposed to a diverse range of civil, structural and specialist reporting projects for our nationwide client base.- Main duties and responsibilities: - Civil and structural design and supervision - Field inspections to civil and structural sites - Assuring the technical delivery on a consistent basis. - Meeting and securing better relationships with clients - Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members. - About you- 5+ years experience in the New Zealand consulting, civil and structural engineering environment and a sound understanding of the construction process. - Be a New Zealand Chartered Engineer (or a person who is close to achieving this) - Knowledge of CAD based design packages - Ambitious and keen to develop with a passion for knowledge, design and construction - Confident to work independently both in the field and office in a supportive team environment - Have strong communication skills, including ability to write and review reporting of junior team members.- - We pride ourselves on being an inclusive team - we encourage our people to bring their unique selves to work.
