**About the Company**:
Our client is one of New Zealand's leading development consultancies. Based in Central Auckland they are a medium-sized but very experienced and highly regarded team involved in the delivery of a number of significant residential and commercial developments across Auckland and beyond.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and Welcoming Visitors: Welcome clients, guests, and employees with a warm and professional demeanor. Ensure all visitors are greeted promptly and courteously upon arrival.
- Managing Phone Calls: Handle incoming phone calls in a polite and courteous manner. Direct calls to the appropriate individuals and take detailed messages when necessary.
- Reception Area Management: Maintain a neat and orderly reception area at all times. Ensure the reception area reflects the company's high standards of professionalism.
- Appointment Scheduling: Assist in scheduling appointments for executives and other team members, utilizing appropriate scheduling tools and software.
- Visitor Coordination: Coordinate and manage visitor access, including notifying employees of their guests' arrival and managing sign-in procedures.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to various departments as required, including data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks.
- Facilities Coordination: Collaborate with facilities and maintenance teams to ensure the reception area and surrounding spaces are well-maintained and functioning efficiently.

**About You**:

- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in a formal corporate environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
