Reporting to the Senior Estimator, you will be a liaison with Senior Management on bid strategy, tender preparation and estimation. You will display the key responsibilities of:

- Estimation Expertise with utilizing your experience to prepare detailed tender estimates, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for.
- Researching of project requirements accommodating resources and costs to provide comprehensive estimates.
- Working closely with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather information and to ensure accurate estimates.
- Meeting deadlines by delivering timely and efficient estimates.
- Contributing to the compilation of tender risk and opportunity registers.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in the tendering process within a major contracting environment. You will also have:

- Proven experience as tender estimator in the construction/ civil industry
- A high degree of computer literacy including use of estimating software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools (Candy/Benchmark)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
