Operations Manager

Reporting to the CEO the role of Operations Manager Services is to provide effective leadership and efficient management of supported activities to support and encourage individuals living with disabilities, autism and neurodiversity to live the life they choose and to be part of their communities.

**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a passionate senior people leader to join our Leadership Team overseeing our Supported Activities, Supported Employment and Supported Independent Living services. You will be responsible for providing leadership and operational management across multiple teams and sites, developing them to deliver high quality services to clients. It goes without saying you will be someone who can motivate, coach, encourage and inspire your team to excel.

**Accountabilities**
- Develop and lead service design and innovation in supported activities services in line with Enrich Group values and strategy;
- Lead strategic thinking across our services, establishing key issues, objective, strategies and tactics as well as develop growth strategies and innovation vision;
- Contributes to the leadership of the organisation, role models a culture that embeds Enrich Group values;
- Develop and maintain strategic collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders,
- Play a significant role in continuing to be innovative, advocating on behalf of our service users with government agencies,
- Oversees contractual and financial management of the services, including contracts and funding with government agencies;
- Contributes to health and safety, HR practices, risk management and governance;
- Promoting new growth across our services.

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field;
- Relevant experience in the health and disability sectors,
- At least 5 years experience in a senior strategic role;
- Experience managing service delivery across multiple sites;
- Excellent oral and communication skills;
- Lead people performance, to bring out the best in direct line managers and staff;
- Demonstrate achievement drive, ambition and optimism and a high level of delivery focus to make things happen;
- Able to demonstrate a commercial outlook and business acumen with a high level of financial literacy;
- Experience researching, analysing and reporting on potential new growth opportunities, whilst clearly being able to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organisation;
- Ability to explore innovative, community-focused services with the people we support, stakeholders and staff;
- Experience with people management and an understanding of HR practices;
- Ability to problem solve;
- Experience in leading organisational change;
- Able to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the community.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Our services are across Hamilton, Waipa, King Country and the Bay of Plenty therefore the position could be based in Hamilton or Te Awamutu with flexibility to travel to other locations.
