**The Opportunity**:
As the Operations Manager at Alloy Bearings, you will be responsible for the operations of the business to ensure customers receive their products and services on time, to quality specification and budget, while ensuring the business meets internal key performance indicators.
You will be responsible for integrating between sales, operations, and customer fulfilment and will be pivotal in optimizing workflows with a focus on production and productivity improvements to enhance our operational efficiency.
The success of this role will be measured by the ability to build and maintain a high performing team, delivering high quality on time. Production output, ability to scale, employee engagement, customer feedback and financial outcomes will be measured.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Execution: Responsible for delivering targeted revenue and gross profit from operations. As part of the management team, help develop our Value Creation Plan for the next 3 - 5 years. Implement strategic cadences of meetings and constantly review to ensure they are adding value and helping to execute our Value Creation Plan effectively.
- Effective Leadership: Ensure the right people are in the right seats and hold accountability. Develop and optimise effective workflow across the business with a focus on production output, planning and delivery, and productivity improvements. Maintain close connections with personnel to maximize performance with emotional intelligence and effective communication.
- Operational Excellence: Eliminate complexities and establish frameworks, systems, and processes that are repeatable, trainable, and scalable. Enhance operational efficiencies using lean principles to maintain tidy, very clean facilities and a safe, effective environment. Responsible for site wide operations, production leadership and staff, logistics, maintenance, upkeep, and approved capital improvement projects. Take ownership of health & safety, quality, and environmental obligations to ISO standards and de-risk critical areas of the business.
- Quality and Compliance: Uphold rigorous quality standards across all production stages, lead quality control initiatives, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Safety and Innovation: Implement and maintain best practices for a safe working environment. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the production team.
