As a Processing Officer, you are critical in ensuring our customers' Mail and Parcels are sorted, processed and dispatched correctly to be delivered on time. This role is based in our Rotorua Operations Centre on Waterford Street.

**In this dynamic role, you will**:

- Sort our customer's mail to meet our service level agreements
- Handle parcels in a careful and professional manner
- Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and escalate where required

**We have three shifts available**:
17 hours total - Monday and Tuesday (02:00PM - 06:00PM) and Wednesday to Friday (03:00PM - 06:00PM)
9.5 hours total - Monday (03:00AM - 07:00AM) and Wednesday (01:00AM - 07:00AM)
11 hours total - Monday (04:00AM - 07:00AM), Tuesday 03:30AM - 07:00AM) and Wednesday (02:00AM - 07:00AM)
You can discuss your preferred shift with our sourcing consultants during the phone screen.
Nightshift allowance where eligible will be provided on top of base pay rate.

**We are looking for great people who are**:

- Comfortable in a very physically demanding role consistently lifting and moving postal items, weighing up to 25kgs
- Forklift experience advantageous but not essential
- Natural team players who enjoy working as a team and put our customer's first
- Accurate, with an eye for detail
- Good geographical knowledge of Rotorua and New Zealand is ideal
- Forklift license is an advantage but not compulsory
