**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity***

The Office of the Chief Clinical Officer (OCCO) has a new opportunity for a **Senior Advisor** to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. Working closely with the Principal Advisor and Coordinator, and SME's in the business unit, this role will play a key role in ensuring OCCO meets its requirements in providing quality products to government services and the Minister's offices in a timely way. You will be responsible for drafting key ministerial products for the office ensuring attention to detail and timeliness are prioritised as well as other key documentation (regular reporting, ELT papers, memos, guidelines etc.) and supporting projects as required and agreed with the Head of the Office.

**Mōu | About you**

You will bring experience in writing key ministerial and government services products. Your analytical and detail-oriented approach will allow you to take on board complex and technical information and synthesise. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships will be highly beneficial in this role. You will be a team player and be able to work in a collegial manner.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Experience working in government services and developing products for Minister's offices.
- A strong working knowledge of policy and ability to interpret and understand, legislation and the machinery of government.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Well-developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge and experience working with standard office software products e.g., Word, Excel and knowledge of working with SharePoint desirable.
- A relevant tertiary qualification
