We provide services and support to general practices and community-based health providers to deliver quality health care to patients. We also own and operate the 24 Hour Surgery Urgent Care Clinic. We are the only Urgent Care Clinic in Canterbury that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we have been caring for communities across Canterbury for over 20 years.

**Ko **tāu**ake**mahi | What you will be doing**

This role is for 40 hours per week

Working within the 24Hour Surgery (24HS) Operations Support Team, this role will have primary responsibility for the effective production and management of the Medical Team Roster and other rosters. This involves liaising with staff, contractors, and providing advice to the Senior Management team to ensure the rosters are filled, leave is recorded, and risks are identified, communicated and gaps are filled in a proactive manner. The role includes responsibility for managing both external and internal relationships that impact the medical roster. The role is a member of the Operations Support team and as part of this also provides high quality support to the Senior Management Team of the 24HS.

- Proven highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Proven relationship management skills with a wide range of people that aligns with our values
- Experience working with a roster system is essential
- A focus on detail to ensure high quality outputs meet the relevant business requirements.
- An ability to understand and manage roster related risks and to advise
- Enjoy working as part of a team, within a fast paced and busy environment
- A methodical, organised approach and understanding of the need to respond/deliver work within agreed timeframes.
- Previous administrative experience is essential
- Experience in the health sector is also highly desired
- To be successful in this role, you’ll have an understanding of (or active interest in) and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and biculturalism.
