**Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced, passionate person to provide executive support to our Pharmacology and Therapeutics Advisory Committee (PTAC) and expert advisory network (including Specialist Advisory Committees and other advisory groups).

Reporting to the Manager, Expert Advisory, you will be responsible for the executive support and assistance to PTAC and the PTAC Chair, as well as to Pharmac directorates regarding advisory network activities. This is an opportunity to be at the core of Pharmac's functions and support the implementation of Pharmac's strategy for its extensive expert advisory network.

As a key point of contact between Pharmac and the PTAC Chair and wider committee, you will ensure the committee is well supported and manage communications to ensure the smooth operation of our advisory network activities.

Your ability to understand and simplify administration and coordination processes will be critical when contributing to the smooth operation of PTAC. Your ability to work with a wide range of people will be essential to your success in this role.
- Proven ability in an administration role with at least 4 years of experience, including a committee secretarial role
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and can prioritise competing work priorities
- Proficient MS Office skills, including Microsoft Teams
- High integrity, including treating confidential information appropriately
- High level of comprehension with ability to filter and record key information concisely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to use of plain language
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of medical terminology is a benefit, but not essential
