As our Network Transformation Technical Lead, reporting to our Head of Network Transformation & Investment, challenge and explore how we do things now, and in the future. **The role**:

- Refine the Orion network transformation roadmap and developing business cases for NT related projects
- Conduct and support research, development and pilot programme works while providing generalist engineering advice
- Lead and support Orion’s participation in industry and public forums while recommending solutions that affect the design and operation of future network
- Design systems and processes to provide visibility of the LV network and enable analysis of network operation and performance
- Work across the Orion network to standardise Distributed Energy Resources (DER) requirements

**About you**:

- Level 7 tertiary qualification in Power Engineering or equivalent knowledge gained from practical experience
- Extensive experience in a leadership role related to electricity network operations
- Ability to develop innovation solutions with a fresh and new way of doing things
- Experience writing complex business cases, piloting programmes, research and development
- Ability to influence at all levels with a curious and investigative mindset
