Mitre 10 is a name New Zealanders know and trust — proudly Kiwi-owned and operated, with MEGA and Mitre 10 stores in nearly every town across the country. We’re seeking an outstanding Trade Representative to spearhead the growth of our Trade business at Mitre 10 Mega Mt Wellington in Auckland.

**About the Role**

This is a full-time role (42.5 paid hours per week) based in Mt Wellington on a 12 month fixed-term contract. You will spend much of your time out on the road across Auckland, actively seeking out new opportunities to expand our market share as well as managing established trade customers. This role is responsible to build genuine, long-term relationships and deliver unbeatable service that keeps our trade customers coming back. You will have the backing of a high-performing, supportive team that knows how to work hard and have fun along the way.

**What You’ll Bring**

You’re a confident communicator with solid industry experience and a passion for building relationships. Ideally, you will have:

- At least 4 years’ experience in the building and allied industry.
- Strong knowledge of building products and sales processes.
- Proven account management skills with the ability to foster lasting partnerships.
- A proactive, solution-focused mind set and keen eye for market opportunities.
- Excellent time management and adaptability for different customer needs.
- A driven, results
- oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
- A clean, full NZ driver’s license.
