**About the Role**

This full-time permanent position as a Trade Sales Representative for Dulux Paints is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a energetic, hardworking individual to join the Auckland Trade Sales Team. This is a fantastic role for someone who wants a fresh start in a new career and is motivated and driven for success or someone who has previous experience and is looking to join an industry leader.

You will manage a portfolio of clients with your key focus to be growing and maintaining the existing Dulux customer base. Primarily you will be responsible for our Trade Painters through multiple sectors within construction, however there will be opportunity for you to grow your customer base with out of the box thinking. Much of your day can be spent out in the field, but this is a highly autonomous role, so professionalism & a high level of communication are skills you possess.

As a high performing, experienced sales representative you will be able to articulate and demonstrate how your authentic sales style and ability to close has led to your success so far.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to harness established customer relationships and create new ones
- Strong sales acumen and demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets
- Good time management, planning and organisation behaviors
- Resilience, adaptability, and flexibility
- Great energy and enthusiasm with a genuine, down to earth attitude
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills with experience with CRM’s, Excel, and word at a minimum
- Lateral thinking and problem solving
- Experience within a similar industry will be of benefit, but we are willing to consider applicants outside of industry.
