Te Puni Kokiri is the government's principal policy advisor on M ori wellbeing and development. We achieve strategic influence with a focus on providing high quality policy advice and holding other agencies to account for delivering public services to, for, and with M ori. This includes our mandate to promote M ori achievement in education, training, health and economic resource development along with performing our monitoring and mentoring roles.

Due to an internal secondment, we have an opportunity for an experienced Advisor to join our Data & Insights team within the Strategy puni.

We are looking for an organised clear communicator to join our team to help keep us on task and share the awesome work we do both internally and externally. Join us and help:

- Share the awesome Data and Insights work we do via our various channels such as the intranet, internet, newsletters, SharePoint site and meetings.
- Answer questions coming from the Minister and through the Official Information Act.
- Coordinating and clarifying the interesting mahi (work) going on in the Data and Insights team such as dashboards, infographics and reports. From helping to keep us on track with our DevOps board to booking engagement sessions.

The likely appointment range is $76,213 (90%) to $84,680 (100%) based on skills and experience. The full grade for this role is $76,213 (90%) to $101,616 (120%) per annum with a mid-point of $84,680 per annum.

**Mou | About you**
- Experience sharing content with users, ideally with a lean towards data and insights products such as dashboards, infographics and reports.
- Excellent writing skills, hopefully with experience doing Ministers briefings and answering Official Information Act (OIA) questions
- Transferable experience using task boards such as Jira/DevOps/Planner, as you will be helping keep the team on task using our DevOps board. You will do this by helping breakdown epics into stories and tasks
