**The role**
As a Team Leader Line Mechanic, you’ll be dedicated to guiding your team towards safe and efficient work delivery. Your attention to detail and expertise in planning will ensure success, and you’ll be committed to providing support whenever needed. This role will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, and you’ll be based at Rotorua. We look forward to welcoming you to our team and working together towards achieving our goals.
- You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Complete WTC competency assessments and perform competent audits as well as quality checks
- Ensure plant and equipment are compliance with good working order and fit for purpose by completing toolbox checks
- Complete necessary reports and ensure to meet and exceed with all operational, regulatory and customer requirements

**What we’re looking for**- Relevant trade qualification with Current practising licences
- Knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements with relevant Parts of the Safe Manual - Electricity Industry (SE-MI) are also essential
- Current Workplace Competency (WTC) with proven team leadership abilities
- Ability to organise own workload and the workload of your team to achieve the goals
- Ability to pro-actively promote a safety culture in line with legislation and company procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills in diverse environments
- Great verbal and written communication skills with strong technical aptitude
- A strong commitment to health and safety with great attitude and a willingness to be part of a wider team
