Cosgroves provides professional consulting engineering services to the construction industry, specialising in fire, mechanical, hydraulics, civil, electrical and sustainable engineering, we have offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.

**The Role**:
Our Christchurch office needs a well organised, accounts savvy and motivated accounts/project administrator with an inherent proactive approach. You will be integral to the smooth operation of our nationwide team, working in a busy and diverse environment alongside a great team of people. You would be responsible for assisting engineers with project performance reporting, forecasting and workflow management, leading our monthly accounts receivable process, assisting with creditor processes and working alongside our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator and Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to support other business functions.

**Who we're after**:

- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and take initiative
- Enthusiasm and drive to own your role and engage other team members as required to get the job done
- A high level of computer literacy - especially using Word, Excel and Outlook (advanced Word skills preferred)
- Thorough understanding of debtor and creditor processes and project lifecycles
- Experience with using project management / job costing software
- Experience with using Xero or a similar accounting program
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A clean full driving license
