**Summary of Position**:
We are looking for an energetic crew member to manage our Upstairs Rooftop area. This will involve all business pillars Financial, People, Marketing and Systems. You will also be responsible for the management of functions.

**Duties & Responsibilities**: PERTAINING PREDOMINANTLY TO THE UPSTAIRS AREA BAR/RESTAURANT/OUTSIDE DECK**
- Be responsible for function management. To include liaising with initial query, working within a budget, liaising with chefs for menu planning, and expediting during the function.
- The Manager must abide by all systems, and ensure that the rest of the team are trained and following systems.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Continually strive to develop new or less experienced staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
- Oversee and ensure that restaurant/bar policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant/bar policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
- Assist in developing, planning and carrying out restaurant/bar marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns.
- Perform necessary administrative tasks as set out in the Daily Administration system
**Qualifications**:
- Be at least 24 years of age.
- Have had at least 2 years in a hospitality role encompassing both food and beverage service.
- Previous management an asset but not necessary.
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant/bar trading area.
- Have knowledge of management systems to include but not exclusive to weekly KPIs, Budget Creations, Implementation and Control
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 40kgs.
