Reporting and Data Insights Analyst

**The role**
Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager, you will be providing high quality, accurate reporting and insights by way of data analysis and data visualisation, across the various regions. You will be accountable to:
- Develop historic, real-time, and predictive insights to support service delivery across the Contracting business
- Maintain existing reports and dashboards and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Lead investigation of new approaches for data visualisation, and design the content and appearance of data visuals
- Design and develop dashboards, data visualisation artefacts to clearly and creatively present data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Manage the iteration, review and maintain data requirements and data models, identify and recommend improvements

This role will see you work with the Operations Teams across Northpower Contracting to help them get a better understanding of their operational and process performance through data driven decision making; and provide coaching and mentoring as required in understanding the role of data and insights in delivering operational excellence.**What’s in it for you?**

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to manipulate complex data and have a strong analytical focus. You will be passionate about developing insights, reporting and providing analytical solutions to help our Contracting business better understand their performance against strategic and service delivery objectives.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Reporting, Analytics and Data Insights
- Proven experience with tools like Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
- A qualification in Information Technology /Economics/ Statistics/ Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong financial acumen and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with multiple stakeholders
