808 Ltd, Wellington is seeking an experienced VFX Production Manager with a creative eyeto join our growing studio. This is a permanent full time position. Duties include leading both teams of artists and scheduling projects, with high level client engagement required. Problem solving, being creative and adaptable to change are key attributes we are looking for. Must be able to work in a team environment and be a self-starter. Pay is based on experience in the range of $60k-$70k per annum. Studio hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with breaks totalling a 40 hour week. A degree in Art Direction and 1 year of relevant experience is required for this role.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- **1. Project Management**:

- Oversee the production process for multiple VFX projects from inception to

completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- **2. Team Leadership**:

- Manage and mentor a team of VFX artists, coordinators, and technicians.
- Foster a collaborative and creative working environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and provide feedback.
- **3. Client Liaison**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision and requirements are effectively communicated to the team.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
- **4. Quality Control**:

- Ensure all VFX work meets the highest quality standards and aligns with the client’s vision.
- Conduct thorough reviews of VFX shots and provide constructive feedback to the team.
- **5. Problem Solving**:

- Identify potential production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and manage risks proactively.
- **6. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including production notes, schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare regular status reports for senior management and clients.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
