We have an exciting opportunity for a Structures Supervisor in the heavy civil and structures space to join our successful team. The role of a Supervisor is to plan and organise work safely, while making sure that all resources are available to execute the job, this includes people, plant and materials in your area of control. As a Supervisor, you may lead multiple operational crews and perform some hands on work.

We have a solid portfolio of work going forward and this role is key to ensuring the on-going success, as well as future relationships with our clients through efficient delivery of quality projects.

As our Supervisor, you will play a key role leading crews and supporting the Engineers and Managers with planning and completing works in accordance with the set programme and specifications.

- Managing day to day activities of your crews
- Complying with Health and Safety policies on all aspects of work
- Encourage development of staff within your teams
- Engage staff and Clients on a daily basis

We’re looking for someone with:
You will be either an experienced Structures Project Supervisor or have multi-disciplined experience supervising large projects across New Zealand.

The following skills and attributes are also required:

- BCITO or equivalent Trade qualified
- Comprehensive background in Heavy Civil concrete structures
- Current class 1 licence
- Current class 2 & W,T,R endorsements
- First aid certificate
- Experience working on major construction projects
- 10-15 years’ experience working within heavy civils construction
- Passionate about Health and Safety
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Desire to lead and mentor a team
