Centre Assistant

Our Community Centre is looking for a part-time Centre Assistant to help with the Centre's operations.
Are you a vibrant, energetic, and self-motivated person who is comfortable working autonomously? Can you be a warm welcoming advocate for the Community Centre and have the initiative to make our Centre the best it can be? Are you a great communicator and team player ready to contribute to a fantastic customer service ethos?
We expect that you will have a good level of computer literacy, that you have the ability to work independently at times, and to work well in a team across all cultures and ages. You should have good communication skills, time management, and organisational skills.
We'll give you the relevant training (on-the-job and external) to ensure you can do your job. We'll ensure that you get training in first aid. We'll give you the opportunity to work autonomously and help create a great team culture. There will be opportunities to build community engagement and really make a difference.
There will be some flexibility around your hours of work to help fit around your study and with the other things happening in your life. **You should expect to rostered for a minimum of 6 hours per week, mainly between the hours of 3:30pm and 9:30pm weekdays. **There could be some weekend work and sometimes you may get the asked to help earlier in the day.
