As Marketing Manager, you will develop marketing and communication strategies in alignment with the College’s Strategic intent, working with the Director of Advancement on organisational strategy and culture, and assisting with budget management and reporting. The Marketing Manager will manage a small team, with key responsibilities including:

- In conjunction with the Director of Advancement, developing and implementing marketing and communication plans for the College and its subsidiary organisations.
- Managing communication channels including e-newsletters, publications, social media, and website
- Managing advertising campaigns and College promotion
- Event planning and management for student recruitment
- Aligning marketing activities with other Advancement programmes
- A tertiary qualification in marketing and/or business communications and related work experience
- Experience developing and implementing a multi-platform marketing strategy
- Experience managing and working to a budget
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop good working relationships
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, and the ability to work on a variety of tasks concurrently while still meeting tight deadlines
- The ability to initiate, manage, and coordinate project work
- Social media competency with both advertising and content generation
- Technical knowledge with design software and technologies would be an advantage
- The flexibility to work as part of a team, and manage a small team
- Empathy with the College philosophy and values
- An understanding of independent education in New Zealand
- A high level of competency in written communications
