**About the role**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join CurtainStudio as an Area Manager, covering the Central North Island and upper South Island territory. In this crucial role, you will serve as the primary business partner between CurtainStudio and our network of license partners, both company-owned and franchise. Your responsibilities include driving the success of license partners in terms of growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the assigned geography. You will play a key role in upholding the integrity of the CurtainStudio brand, ensuring commercial success for Curtain Studio as the licensor, and actively contributing to the expansion of the brand's presence and sales performance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Driving license partner success through regular business meetings, mentoring, and close monitoring of leads and conversion rates.
- Maximising up-sells, minimising discounts, and serving as the 'first approver' for CurtainStudio product discounts.
- Ensuring adherence to systems, brand standards, and product guidelines, providing in-person training and approving non-standard transactions.
- Training license partners in systems, processes, and product knowledge, ensuring accuracy and delivering product training.
- Collaboratively review errors, manage conflicts, and analyse patterns to improve performance and procedures.
- Oversee in-store merchandising standards, ensure brand compliance, and monitor Net Promoter Score/customer satisfaction.
- Manage product availability, oversee inventory control, and support stores in managing in-store samples and credit requests.

**You will have**
- Previous successful sales history and experience
- Familiarity Licence/Franchise agreements and obligations of both parties
- Strong acumen for operations and procedures
- Previous experience in a franchise environment is desirable
