We know stepping into a higher leadership role can be a big jump and daunting.. but it can be so rewarding Growing as an ECE professional is so important, and we want to ensure success for those Centre Managers not quite ready for the leap to Area Manager, but still want to stretch those leadership legs.
In Wellington, we have seen the opportunity to support our Area Manager and provide more peer support across our centres.. hence this Assistant Area Manager role being up for grabs Your primary role will be to support your home centre in a Centre Manager capacity, with leadership support over two other ECE services as required.
This role will be based within one of our Lower Hutt centres..
Here you will:
Build more in depth relationships with the CMs that you will be supporting, ensuring weekly/fortnightly visits are in place in order for this to be most effective. As you work side by side keeping on top of what the priorities are for each centre and team, you will also keep your Area Manager up to date along the way. Your mentoring skills and ability to relate to others will enable you to successfully guide your peers in a professional and respectful manner.
- You’ll have proven people leadership experience, backed by a strong track-record across the other key elements that are critical to operating a wonderful centre. An exceptional communicator and relationship builder, your ability to innovate, reflect and push beyond the boundaries will also indicate you are the best.
