**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Organisational Development (OD) team and contribute to the future of health in New Zealand. You will do this by designing, implementing and improving contemporary OD initiatives across Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. You will deliver key national initiatives to a local audience, whilst also getting involved in some interesting national projects through this significant period of transformation and change.

Our passionate and driven Organisational Development team sits within our People and Culture function and plays a critical role within the organisation. This role will involve end to end project delivery from scoping and discovery, research and analysis, design and delivery, and evaluation. There will be an element of coaching and support of managers across the organisation, as well as a focus on high quality communication and engagement activity.

You will be an OD enthusiast, who will bring energy and optimism to imagining future possibilities that reinvent how we think about solutions and creating change in our workforce.

You are a pattern spotter and a storyteller who captures, visualises and weaves together people, processes, and stories. You look for common threads, unifying themes and underlying narrative that makes sense of people's contributions and insights and create shared understanding by identifying relationships, trends and opportunities and bring clarity to complex challenges.

**Ngā p**ū**kenga me ngā wheako - Skills and experience**
- A relevant graduate qualification, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years' HR/L&D/OD experience with extensive experience in facilitation and business partnering and experience delivering organisational development initiatives from conception through to implementation
- You are a Te Tiriti partner: you recognise that Te Tiriti o Waitangi is a founding document of government in Aotearoa, New Zealand and you partner with Māori as a key aspect of your inclusive OD practice. You are committed to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
- You are passionate about improving equity and outcomes for the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand: you have a deep understanding of the importance of lived experience and diverse perspectives, a strong track record in delivering OD solutions that serve our communities and enhance workforce wellbeing for our staff
- You have excellent relationship skills: You are a natural relationship builder and love connecting people together
- You are clear on outcome and flexible on process: you will draw on a broad range of change, transformation and development methodologies, tools and frameworks according to what is required to get there
- You are curious: you are a lifelong learner and enjoy constantly developing and growing; you are reflective and use this insight to come up with creative and original OD solutions
- You are rigorous when demonstrating impact: you are aware of the importance of understanding the impact that OD interventions have had on people and organisation objectives; you are committed to the inclusion of evidence based practice in OD
- You are an expert facilitator: You bring together different disciplines, perspectives and backgrounds and ensure that everyone feels safe to contribute and be heard
