**S. Island site based 2IC Engineering Manager**

**Platinum Recruitment** are thrilled to assist with the growth of this company with the newly created
**2 IC Engineering Manager** role.

Following the addition of substantial state of the art assets and facilities, we are looking to add a 2 IC to the in-house, permanent maintenance team.

**THE ROLE**:

- Diverse role, reporting to the Site Engineering Manager in all aspects of maintenance & reliability engineering: maintenance planning, job scheduling, overseeing engineers - mechanical & electrical, quality control, continual improvement, liaising with external contractors and jumping in and getting your hands dirty. Competitive hourly wage for 50 hours a week, across 5 X 10 hour shifts._

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- NZQA Level 4 Engineering Trade Certified - or
- Tertiary qualified Maintenance Engineer with NZ experience
- Food processing / FMCG plant experience
- Strong EHSR focus
- Proven successes in reliability engineering
- Diagnostics, hands-on skills
- PPM & scheduling abilities
- Project managing experience
- Shut down experience
