**What does this 2IC role involve?**
Dependent on levels of previous experience you will be exposed to the many facets of our company as well as important hands-on skills. Duties may include picking and packing of orders, dispatch, stock rotation, inwards goods, container devanning, stock takes, order management, customer service and other general warehouse activities.
Ongoing guidance and mentoring from our management team will provide opportunities to develop and improve your knowledge, experience and skills in many areas, including people management, financial controls, freight management, customer interaction and IT systems.
- Proven experience in working to deadlines with the ability to juggle priorities and tasks
- Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers
- The ability to anticipate business demands and bottlenecks
- Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment (preferred)
- Forklift skills, ideally reach truck (preferred)
- Previous experience in giving direction and dealing with staff performance, would be an advantage
The job can be physical, so a clean bill of health is a requirement, combined with excellent communication, leaderships skills and Microsoft Office Computer skills. WMS system knowledge / supply chain or operations background would be a definite advantage.
Previous 2IC’s have said “no day is the same, love the variety”. How quickly you progress is up to you

Our operating hours are between 6.00am-6.00pm, 5 days per week with some weekend work available.
