We're looking for a Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to join our team. The purpose of this role will be to lead and set direction for Lightspeed's Business Intelligence function which monitors and analyses customers and business performance. In this role you will communicate across all levels of the business and play a key part in enabling operations, development and strategic decision making across Lightspeed.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Lead analysis and mining of large data sets to derive actionable insights using prescriptive, descriptive, predictive, exploratory, and inferential analysis.
- Manage and collaborate with a team of analysts by providing direction, feedback and mentorship.
- Help elevate 'analytical storytelling' by building, articulating and presenting analytics results including dashboards, reports and presentations, for client audiences that align to their goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and senior stakeholders while managing multiple deliverables concurrently.
- Support the creation of measurement plans using data for identifying trends, insights, marketing results and answers to key business questions.
- Help develop the company's BI capability, including continual enhancement & development of BI tools, methods & knowledge.

- Build strong relationships with business leaders to support data-driven decisions and confidence in our metrics.
- Staying abreast of all data or metrics related developments, innovations and trends in the industry.

**What you need to bring**:

- Experience with MS Excel, SQL querying languages, techniques & BI tools (eg. Tableau, Looker, Bigquery)
- Experience in a data analysis, business intelligence or data mining role
- Prior involvement with managing projects, and managing BI teams with previous technical experienc
- Ability to communicate complex metrics & analysis to audiences with a range of experience & knowledge
- Excellent time-management with accuracy and attention to detail
