We are on the lookout for an **Inventory Coordinator on a 2-year fixed term contract **to join our Merchandise team based our Albany Support Centre. This vital role will require a keen eye for detail, impeccable organisational skills, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes.

**Reporting to the Distribution Manager, your key functions will include**:

- Coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order and dispatch of goods.
- Conducting regular stocktakes, recording any discrepancies and taking corrective action as required.
- Maintaining inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborating with the team to identify and implement improvements in inventory management processes.
- Troubleshooting any issues related to inventory and providing swift resolutions.
- Liaising with suppliers and transport companies, fostering strong relationships.
- Overseeing the flow of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring timeliness and efficiency.
- Responding to any inventory-related inquiries and concerns from team members and stakeholders.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Proven experience in a similar inventory or supply chain coordinator role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management procedures.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- High level of proficiency in using inventory management software and database systems.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse data.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
