The Network Management team is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the roading network. To do this they work with partners & stakeholders and respond to customer requests to investigate and deliver engineering outcomes. These includes but is not limited to delivery of the road safety programmes, network optimisation programmes and community programmes such as speed management, corridor and intersection improvements, improvements around schools, residential roads and town centres, fatal crash investigations, introducing cycling improvements and new footpaths, and minimising disruption to customers by alignment of works and the coordination of projects.

We are now seeking a Business Support Specialist, who supports the Group Manager Network Management and the wider department in achieving the department's objectives by providing excellent administrative, coordination and management support services.

The key responsibility in this role is to champion the development and implementation of effective and proactive change in Network Management with a focus on customer experience improvements, reporting and process changes.

- A keen interest in learning about and understanding the operations of this department and how it integrates with the wider AT business and the city of Auckland that it supports
- Strong written and oral communication skills with attention being paid to detail and information accuracy
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills (internal and external stakeholders)
- Highly organised - plan, prioritise and manages time well
- Customer focused with a drive to build a positive AT brand

The position will ideally suit a flexible and collaborative person with a high level of personal resilience that thrives under pressure and enjoys a dynamic environment where they can use their exemplary administrative, coordination and relationship skills to produce great results.
