Our team is looking for an experienced and inquisitive Senior Adviser with strong writing and communication skills.
This is a close-knit team reporting into the Engagement & Operations Manager, where you will be recognised for your input and advice, be called upon to mentor and develop team members, and have the opportunity to grow to achieve your fullest potential.
Based in either our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) or Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office, this is a 12-month fixed term position.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
This role is primarily to support the team with drafting Ministerial briefings, other policy documents and reports and creating material to engage with stakeholders including consumers, iwi, media, executive and ministerial level audiences.
The team you will join is responsible for supporting the Infrastructure Branch to deliver on its strategic priorities and overall work programme.

He kōrero mōu | About you
A true team player, you'll be experienced working in a fast-paced environment and bring a proactive and solutions-focused approach. You'll be able to think, write and communicate clearly, offer sound critical thinking skills and be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels. A key part of the role will be breaking down complex information into key messages and chapters of our documents to communicate our decisions externally with clarity and accuracy.
