**Pay Band**: $23.38 - $29.10 per hour (This is based on the Pay Equity Settlement by the Ministry of Health - hourly pay rates based on equivalency of Healthcare Qualifications assessed under Pay Equity)
Being part of Healthvision’s Homecare Casual Bureau, we are seeking people from the following regions: New Plymouth & Taranaki. We have opportunities in the Homecare Support team to support our clients in home-based situations ensuring a high quality of service and care is consistently delivered. You will be provided with exceptional training and will work with the guidance and/or support of highly trained personnel.
Our Bureau is designed to support upcoming requirements on an as-need-basis suitable to those who have an interest in Healthcare and for those who are professional health carers. As it is casual employment in a community-based environment, this means we will connect with you to discuss what shifts there are and if you are able to work them.
**The roles available is as follows**:
**Community Support Worker**: You will play an essential role in supporting our clients in the community with their daily care. This could include assisting them with Personal Cares, Moving and Handling (Hoisting and Transfers), Community Access, Meal Prep, and Home Help.
**Crucially, you can demonstrate**:
- Excellent communication skills and are interpersonally caring and positive in relating to all sorts of people from different backgrounds
- You are a quick learner and able to integrate into various environments
- Being customer-focused as a key strength of yours, you’re genuinely a helpful person ensuring the needs of the customer are always met/exceeded
- You can be depended upon to turn up to your agreed shift to deliver high-quality care to our clients
Contributing to rewarding roles that develop your skills
- Either you have an interest in this sector or you have prior/current experience
- You have the right to live and work in NZ
