**Description**:
We have an exciting position become available - We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and conscientious individual that can support our client in the Coromandel & Whitianga within his/her own home.

We are looking for someone who would be comfortable working on a roster (weekends included) and covering am and pm shifts. If successful you will be joining a team of skilled staff, working within a positive and supportive environment.

**This rewarding role involves**:

- Assisting clients with home help, shopping assistance, and meal preps and their personal cares e.g showering, helping with dressing and exercising.
- Assisting the client to access the community e.g driving to supermarket, run errands with the client
- Assisting the client with moving and handling using hoists and manual transfers

- Prior experience in healthcare or experience caring for complex clients (Spinal Injuries or Traumatic Brain Injuries) would be an advantage
- Living in the Coromandel, Whitianga, or surrounding areas
- A full driver’s license and confidence driving a mobility van (training can be provided)
- Interested in earning a qualification in Health and Wellbeing
- Flexibility to cover shifts, do rostered work and comfortable working weekends
- Great communication skills
- Eligibility to work in NZ without any restrictions (Open Work Visa, NZ Residency, NZ Citizens)
- Evidence of your vaccination status (as per the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 which specifies that all frontline workers must be vaccinated)
