You are an experienced Administrator with an eye for detail and adherence to process. You are comfortable with the idea of working in an all-male prison where the men come from all walks of life.

You have well-developed communication skills and the ability to create and nurture effective working relationships with your team and external stakeholders and agencies. You also possess good multi-tasking skills, you are ITC-proficient, and comfortable making recommendations to improve systems and processes as you see them, based on sound logic and reasoned argument.

**Mo tenei turanga mahi |About this Role**

Reporting to the Team Leader: Parole & Case Management Assurance, you will work as part of a passionate and committed team who support the Case Management function within the prison.

**Key Functions include**:

- Identifying all new arrivals and maintaining NZPB Parole Assessment Reports (PAR) database
- Ensure all PAR’s are allocated and accounted for
- Liaise with NZPB Administrators to facilitate all hearings
- Weekly Circular checks
- Ensure compliance by Case Management (CM) team for key due dates
- Submit all PARS and supporting documentation to NZPB folders
- Manage and ensure printing of Judge Sentencing Notes (JSN) and Summary of Facts (SOF) collation
- Handle any Section 26 and revocation requests as required
- Ensure site-wide communication on when and where NZPB hearings will take place
- Communicate NZPB dates, times to paiāki
- Monthly reporting

To be successful in this role you will have:_**
- A high level of integrity and trust with experience on how to handle sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skill.
- Experience either working with or within corrections services preferred.
- A sound background in administration, customer services and relationship management.
- Strong computer skills in a range of software packages including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- The ability to innovate and make appropriate recommendations to improve systems and processes
- An understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and te Tiriti o Waitangi, and be committed to providing for better outcomes for Māori
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role._
