Reporting to the Technology Operations and Security Manager, the newly created role of Cyber Security Specialist will be advocating a culture of security and compliance and protecting the business against cyber security breaches. Key areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to:

- Assist in the management of all security & compliance aspects of the Technology environment, including continuous improvement, risk, compliance, change management, audit, vulnerability, penetration test and BCP/DR.
- Proactively monitor and govern security & technical compliance protocols and standards through the organisations Technology Framework.
- Explore, identify, and recommend security & compliance strategies, projects and technical change that will improve their technology security posture.
- Identify technology risks & implement mitigations related to cybersecurity weaknesses and vulnerabilities in software, hardware, network, user education, and IT projects / changes.
- Perform third party risk assessments for all external partners/suppliers.

To meet key deliverables, you will be passionate about cyber security. You will be self-motivated, with a high level of analytical, monitoring, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be able to think laterally and challenge ideas and possess a ‘creative’ flair for solution development, whilst relating effectively to a broad audience, bringing technical and non-technical people together to effectively communicate technical solutions in business terms.

Ideally, you will have at least 3 years practical experience gained in a similar cyber security-based role together with appropriate tertiary studies. Familiarity with industry leading cyber security frameworks for identifying risk (i.e., NIST, ISO, NERC CIP, ISA/IEC) is preferred.

This role can be based remotely, with a preference for applicants who are located in South Australia, Melbourne and New Zealand (South Island), where OneFortyOne have office locations.

Regular travel to Mount Gambier will be required. Driving licence is preferrable.
