Christchurch Hospital, situated on the edge of Hagley Park and a
short walk to the CBD - s shopping and dining precincts, is the base for our
diagnostic physics team that provides services throughout the region. The team
of 5 physicists and 1 associate physicist has specialist knowledge covering
diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, MRI, radiation safety and a myriad of
to Kaikoura to Westport to provide safe and effective imaging. Some travel is
therefore required as we visit sites to test their equipment to ensure it is
operating safely.
As
an Associate Physicist, Diagnostic Physics you will assist the physicists with scheduling
and conducting equipment compliance tests and maintaining our own test
equipment.
This is a
40 hour per week full time permanent position (1FTE).
Training
will be provided based on what level of knowledge you enter the position with.
