The National Family Harm Prevention team are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team on a fixed term basis for an initial period of 18 months in the role of Manager: Investment Advisory. This role reports to the National Manager: Family Harm Prevention. To support the delivery of the outcomes you will be expected to: - Have an understanding of the effects Family Harm has on our communities - Understand the mechanics of government and government processes in terms of the budgetary requirements, executive and Ministerial briefings - Support any changes of relevant programme initiatives. You will be working with a high performing, innovative and committed team. The successful applicant will be instrumental in leading and embedding future change within Police and in partnership with others. **Nga kawenga matua | Key Accountabilities**: - Oversee and ensure that we are meeting our obligations within the framework of Te Aorerekura. - Ensure the team receives the information that they require to be able to discharge their responsibilities. - Lead, build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Lead through influence across the FH Prevention leadership team, providing advice and direction to peers and leadership. - Draft clear and concise reports and briefings for Executive and Minister as required. - Have experience working on significant projects as key member of a project team. - Provide oversight in the management of a significant budget. - Analyse and understand complex issues relating to Family Harm. - Ensure that any risks and dependencies are well managed and escalate any issues when required to the Manager, Family Harm Prevention. - Support the management and leadership of the Senior Advisor, Investment Advisory. **Te mea e mauria mai e koe**| What you'll bring** This is an opportunity for an innovative leader.
