The Investment Solutions team fulfils the investment management function for BNZ. It is responsible for the risk and return outcomes that customers experience when investing in BNZ's wealth products. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Investment Manager to join the team. This role is responsible for ensuring that the Managed Investment Schemes (MISs) and Discretionary Investment Management Service (DIMS) portfolios that are offered by BNZ achieve their investment objectives. **Mō te Tūranga | About the Roles** We sat down with our Head of Investment Solutions, who let us know the following about the Senior Investment Manager tūranga (role); **What are 5 day-to-day tasks the person in this role will complete?** - Work with BNZ's asset consultant to review the asset allocations of BNZ's wealth products. - Write and present investment recommendations and noting papers to the BNZ Investment Review Committee (IRC) and Board of BNZ Investment Services Limited (BNZISL). - Perform the Secretariat duties for the IRC. - Work with the Product team on the offer documents for all wealth products (eg Product Disclosure Statements, SIPOs, Other Material Information). - Work with the Investment Communications team on regular and ad hoc communications to the Advisory team and customers. **What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?** We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of financial markets and investment management. You'll be responsible for communicating information in a way that is easy to understand, so exceptional written and verbal communication skills are crucial. You will also have: - A minimum of 10 years' experience, ideally within a wealth management, investment consulting, or funds management business. - CFA Charterholder qualification (desirable). - Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and a proactive approach to your work. - The ability to self-manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. **What is the team culture and environment like?** Our tīma (team) is supportive, collaborative, and driven to do the right thing for our ngā kiritaki, colleagues, and community.
