We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Cargo Sales & Services Officer to join our Cargo team based in Auckland.

**This is a 12-month fixed term position.**

**Role Introduction**:
As a Cargo Sales & Services Officer, your main duty is to support cargo operations though sales support, customer service delivery, flight preparation, and operational coordination. This role ensures smooth and efficient cargo handling and customer engagement while upholding Cathay’s safety, compliance, and quality standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop into the role. We are looking for someone with the ability to think fast on their feet and enjoys variety in their work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide superior customer service when liaising with and responding to cargo agent quotes and bookings
- Coordinating and checking cargo service activities between sales, operations and ground handling are to required standards;
- Prepare and check documentations and post-flight reports
- Ensure permits and licences are obtained and relevant permission and advices have been obtained for special shipments, including live animals and dangerous goods
- Assist with flight changes, diversions and freighter support
- Ensure compliance and conformance to all regulatory and internal safety, security, quality and procedural requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in customer service experience preferred;
- Proven planning and organisational skills with good attention to detail;
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a solutions based attitude;
- Able to work independently and within a wider regional team;
- Actively seeks continuous improvement and embraces systems improvements;
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to deal with rapid changes in the environment.
