**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
Reporting to the Head of C&T Business Partnering & Wellbeing, this role is all about driving our leadership capability and culture goals. You will need to be able to operate at consulting and commercial level - linking the people strategies to business goals and tangible outcomes.
This is a senior leadership role where you foster new thinking and adaptiveness to coach and mentor leaders to respond to changing needs, challenges, and priorities. You will capture business insights, using commercial acumen and external best practices to inform and guide C&T strategy and direction. You'll demonstrate high learning agility, demonstrate agile ways of working and be adaptive in your approach.
You will be a change agent and understand how to run complex programmes of work and be part of a cross functional team. C&T at Auckland Transport is breaking the mould and innovating in industry led ways, the focus is on giving our people the opportunity to grow, develop, extend themselves, while also working on worthwhile and meaningful work, that makes a difference.

A seasoned professional, you will bring significant experience within large scale culture transformation and extensive experience working in an influential role in large complex organisations.
You will have strong leadership and stakeholder skills with ability to inspire motivate and build effective and high performing teams and lead by influence with proven success in leading (or major contribution) to the design and implementation of major people change initiatives in a complex environment.
Politically savvy and strategic in your approach you will be customer centric problem solver and influencer that can garner the commitment of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation within a changing and evolving environment. You will bring specific functional knowledge and leadership of people strategy, and/or programme management teams.
