**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Senior HRBP is responsible for leading the HR operations across the NZ business. The role is responsible for executing the Global HR Strategy through partnering with business leaders to support overall business operations and goals. The role designs and implements country specific HR policies and procedures that align with the global HR strategy and deliver on local business objectives.

The Senior HRBP leverages the HR ecosystem to deliver on key HR initiatives and coaches/mentors and leads local business leaders to drive high performance of local teams.

**Responsibilities**:
The role duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

- Partner with senior stakeholders on complex and strategic HR topics to provide guidance and business support
- Work closely with the region and local HR team to deliver on key KPIs and objectives
- Create, implement, and maintain action plans for HR policy and procedure changes ensuring compliance with all local legislation in line with Group standards
- Deliver the implementation and execution of the people strategy and key employee lifecycle activities
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to ensure the right skills and roles are in place to meet business needs
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, including ensuring the success of new hires into the business
- Provide and analyse HR data insights and HR reports for the local NZ business
- Deliver the management and coordination of payroll
- Work closely with the Head of HR to deliver M&A and integration activities across the region
- Work closely with the Head of HR to drive strategic HR projects across the region

**Skills Required**:

- 5+ years HR Business Partner experience in a complex matrix global environment
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience in developing and delivering HR strategic projects
- Ability to communicate at senior levels of the business
- Experience in working with a large global HR eco system
