**About the role**
This is an exciting new role that has been established to support quality improvement, best practise and innovation within each of the takiwa/ regions. This would suit someone that has a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality outcomes.
You will be part of a quality team that provides localised solutions for quality improvement for kaiako and tauira. You will work closely with Ako and other Uepu / departments to implement, support and monitor those improvement solutions.
Responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Create system and processes that identify and address quality improvement gaps.
- Conduct, support and or manage external reviews with a takiwa perspective.
- Proactively contribute to internal and external evaluation processes and activities.
- Work with the team to identify, and monitor risks within the region
- Collect, organise, monitor and analyse data related to quality metrics, performance indicators and stakeholder feedback.

**About you**
We are looking for dynamic and capable individual who fits our organisation and team. Attributes we are looking for in the right person include:
- Problem solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
- Creative thinking - ability to think of solutions outside of the normal scope.
- Well-developed relationship building skills
- Experience in using and implementing quality improvement tools.
- Ability to analyse data
- Report writing skills
- Good time management
- Experience working within tertiary education sector would be an advantage.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualification in Quality assurance, project management, teaching & learning or related field or;
- 3+ years experience in quality, quality assurance, compliance, risk in educational setting
