**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position**:
We are looking for a creative, innovative Secondary Kaiako (teacher) who's an expert in **Te Reo Māori**, **with experience in NCEA levels 1 - 3** to join our office based in Auckland.

In this role you will:

- Support ākonga to engage deeply in learning that is aligned with their goals, passions and interests.
- Facilitate regular **huinga ako** (online and face-to-face) to provide pastoral care, connection, and personalised learning
- Provide constructive feedback and feed forward on ākonga learning
- Collaborate with colleagues and whānau to create flexible, engaging learning experiences

You will bring:

- **New Zealand teacher registration and a current practising certificate**:

- Strong knowledge of the in** Te Reo Māori** curriculum and assessment practices
- A calm, inclusive, and supportive approach to teaching and pastoral care
- Confidence using digital tools to connect with learners
- Enthusiasm for collaborative, values driven teaching
- A genuine interest in learning and embracing Te Reo Māori, with a commitment to growing your skills
