**The Opportunity**
Our client is committed to achieving excellence by providing effective electrical and control systems solutions to various industries within New Zealand and beyond. They take pride in their work catering to their customer’s individual needs by integrating quality solutions into their automated systems. They now seek another talented engineering professional to join the team.

**About the role**

**Skills and experience**
We seek an engineer with at least 5 years of practical work experience.

- Degree qualifications or a Trade certificate in either mechatronics/electronics/software or electrical.
- Testing, diagnostics and validation skills - strong problem-solving abilities.
- Programming ability to develop or assess PLC-based systems (Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi) and implement design-based control system improvements.
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages (C#, Ladder Logic, Function Block, Python).
- Advanced in AutoCad for Industrial Automation.
- Consultative abilities, able to talk through solutions with clients.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Team player but able to work autonomously.
