About the Team

The role will leverage those capabilities to drive smarter, measurable QA outcomes while owning the governance and reliability of any AI-driven testing processes.
About the Role (your why)
Our Quality Assurance team works closely with clients to help ensure quality, reliability, and efficiency across their technology solutions. As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Tester, you will play a key role in delivering technical and functional testing services, building and maintaining automation frameworks, and mentoring other testers. The role involves working on challenging projects spanning Web, Mobile, API, and ETL testing, as well as some non-functional testing such as performance testing.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Tester you will be focused on:

- Ensuring adherence to QA Automation standards, best-practices, and methodologies.
- Building and maintaining test automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, API and ETL projects.
- Designing and implementing test scripts to integrate with automation frameworks.
- Working with technical testers to partition work according to skill set.
- Implementing best practices for automation and participating in tool selection and proofs of concept.
- Engaging with developers early in the software development lifecycle to embed automation.
- Mentoring junior testers and providing guidance to teams.
- Promoting collaboration, learning, and team spirit across projects and within Datacom.
- Contributing ideas and process improvements to benefit clients and the wider business.

What you’ll bring
**Required experience**:

- 6+ years’ experience in the related industry (software test automation or QA background).
- Strong knowledge of QA automation practices and processes, including Agile and DevOps.
- Expertise with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, BDD, Maven, TestNG, JUnit, MSTest, NUnit, Git, Jenkins.
- Experience in API automation testing (e.g., RestAssured, RestSharp) and web automation.
- Strong coding skills in Java and/or C#.
- Ability to build automation test frameworks from the ground up for UI or API components.
- Experienced in developing automation scripts in BDD and producing QA documentation.
- Exposure to Continuous Integration setups and build verification.
- Strong communication, analytical, and training/coaching skills.

**Nice to have**:

- Exposure to containerisation tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- ISTQB - Advanced Test Automation Certification.
- Experience with non-functional testing (e.g., performance).
- Knowledge of defect and test management tools.
