**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**
As a product manager at IAG NZ, you’ll leverage your expertise to deliver and execute product and portfolio initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Group Product Policy.
Key responsibilities include leading product development projects, conducting product reviews and activities as required as part of the overall product programme of work, maintaining a customer-centric focus, and ensuring governance and documentation of product activities. You’ll also contribute to strategy development through market research and manage stakeholder relationships to align with business and customer needs. Additionally, you’ll ensure compliance with risk policies and maintain thorough records.
**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**
To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess the following skills and experiences:
- Extensive experience in product management/development including reviewing, analysing and comparing products, and developing policy documents and other technical content.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products (Property, Liability, Commercial Motor, Marine, Construction & Engineering).
- Skilled in stakeholder relationship management.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player.
- Technical skills in underwriting, claims, or product servicing would be desirable
